Dagobah

4th of January 2017

Ever have one of those days that seem unclear? Ok, that's kind of vague. You ever have one of those days when you get through it, and you wonder what you've accomplished? When you get home, someone asks you "what did you do today?" , but you don't know what to say? You don't feel like you've accomplished anything except survive the day, and it's a routine you've done day in and day out. I feel like I've had those days for quite some time. I feel like my life is a bland chili, and nobody likes bland chili. People like their chili to have flavor be it spicy or just enough kick. I'm hoping to add some spice to my chili called life in many ways. I started out with my house, and I tried to involve myself in more runs as well. I just want to get outside more. However, I was hoping to lose a little weight as well, but I've been maintaining it at best. It's time that I lose it and not find it again. I know that I'll have to change some things in my daily routine. One is making this my personal Dagobah. Dagobah? What does that mean? Simple. Where does Luke go to train to become a Jedi? Dagobah. I must make this world my Dagobah system to become the best and most powerful I can be. I took the first step to that by joining a gym. However, it doesn't just start there. I realize that my intake needs to change. If I must go to a place that has drive through, I should walk in and get my food. It will help me get my steps in, but drive throughs take way too long nowadays as well. It's not uncommon to wait 20 minutes anymore. Knowing that drive throughs take too long and I shouldn't eat what's served at a place with drive through has made me decide that I should limit my visits to those places drastically. I'm not talking once a week, and I'm not even talking once a month. If I want to get better fast, I should limit it to once every 3 months. I know I won't get results right away, but I will feel better sooner if this garbage is out of my system sooner.

When the weather permits, I'll have a garden in my back yard to help me get outside more. It will also be more cost effective growing my own food. It will cut down a little on how often I go to the store as well. Who knows how much fun I'll have with it?
