This Might Seem Psycho

1st of December 2016

You ever get into one of those moods where you pop in a movie with lots of destruction because that's what you want to see? However, you don't want to actually destroy anything because it would cost a lot of money, and repairing all the damage still did nothing to change the anger you carry. Not only that, but in reality, buildings aren't put up in a matter of minutes. That takes years, and it's usually a higher priced building than what was there before. In reality, feelings aren't changed in a matter of minutes and forgotten about. Hurt feelings are the hardest to fix, and nowadays, nobody forgets. That's not a bad thing, but it's not a good thing either. Holding onto bad feelings is like keeping moldy bread in the kitchen. It's not going to get better. It's only going to get worse. However, hanging onto those feelings helps you remember how you felt when something upsetting happened. You're able to look out for more of the warning signs to avoid the bad feelings again. Sometimes, letting go of those that you love the most is the solution. That in itself hurts, but when you've talked to the person about what has hurt before, and that person does something selfish again, they didn't learn the first time. And they probably won't change. We can't expect people to change to best fit our lifestyle. However, we can choose who we let into our lives. When we let the wrong people into our lives, it can create a hostility that consumes us affecting how we treat the people we love. Not only the people we love, but the people that don't deserve to be treated poorly. When we have a bad day at work, we take it out on everyone. We bitch and moan about what this person did wrong, or we bitch about what that person should have done. Some people call this venting. Is it really though? Venting is supposed to get the hostility we feel out of our system so it's not building up. I feel more like we explode nowadays. We're just walking powder kegs. Now comes the time of year where it gets cold outside, and I'll be stuck inside a lot. I hate winter, and I'm all ready for baseball to start. I can't get into football anymore. Same with basketball. I like hockey, but I love baseball. At least in the coming winters, I have Star Wars films to look forward to.
