Wizard World 2016: Not Bad
31st of May 2016
This year's Wizard World didn't seem as big as last year's, but it was still fun to see everyone there. This year, I came with a bucket list, but I have a strategy for next year. I'm going to dress up. That way, more people will ask me to have their pic taken with me. That will take care of the photographer problem. Last year seemed to have bigger star power for attractions, but I did see some stuff that I wasn't expecting. I got my picture taken in my car, I mean, Batmobile (you didn't see that it's my car) as well as the DeLorian. I also met a bunch of people on my Facebook page.
I know a lot of people were hoping for more, but I don't get star-struck when I see how much the celebrities are asking for autographs and pics. I did get an autograph last year, but it was Jason Mewes. Of course, I'm going to get his autograph. I guess it's all in who people go to see. I wouldn't pay what William Shatner was asking for any celebrity. However, to each their own.
I'm not sure how far I got on my bucket list. I know I at least got half of it completed, but I lost track after awhile. I know that everyone was nice to have his or her picture taken with me, and I hope next year if I dress up, that people will ask to have their picture taken with me. That will show me if the costume was at least decent. I also hope to continue doing the bucket list, but I might have more people do it with me. Not in competition form, but just for giggles. Just to see who was dressed up as what character. Last year, I found Waldo. I also found Clark Kent turning into Superman, and I might have seen the same guy with the same costume this year. Hey, why fix something that isn't broken? For those that are reading this and stopped to take a picture with me, thanks. I can't wait until next year to see what they have in store.
